This week’s MLB power rankings saw plenty of movement from a number of teams, including a dip from the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves showing why they will still likely be a force to be reckoned with in the postseason.

Let’s take a look at which teams rose and fell in this week’s MLB power rankings

Not only did the Los Angeles Dodgers suffer a sweep at the hands of the rival San Francisco Giants, they also lost starting pitcher Walker Buehler until likely late in the season with a flexor strain in his right elbow.

With the stumble by L.A., the New York Mets climbed to number 2 on our list for the week, giving the Big Apple the top two teams in our MLB power rankings, with the Yankees sitting at the top.

While the week’s news wasn’t great for the Dodgers, everything seems to be coming together for the Atlanta Braves, a team that has now won 11 straight and entered the top 10 of our MLB power rankings this week. The Braves haven’t put together a winning streak like this since the 2013 Braves earned 14 consecutive wins.

Here is this week’s MLB power rankings. As we did last week, we will add one note about one team in each of the thirds of our list.

1. New York Yankees (last week: 1)

2. New York Mets (last week: 3)

3. Los Angeles Dodgers (last week: 2)

4. Houston Astros (last week: 4)

5. Toronto Blue Jays (last week: 5)

6. Tampa Bay Rays (last week: 8)

7. Atlanta Braves (last week: 12)

Atlanta’s outfield finally seems to be coming together, with Ronald Acuña Jr. healthy, Michael Harris II seeming to be the answer in center field, and Adam Duvall finding his stroke again at the plate. Over the last seven games, Duvall is 9-for-27, with seven of those hits going for extra bases (including four home runs).

8. Minnesota Twins (last week: 9)

9. Milwaukee Brewers (last week: 7)

10. San Diego Padres (last week: 6)

11. San Francisco Giants (last week: 11)

12. St. Louis Cardinals (last week: 10)

While Sunday might have been a loss for the Cardinals at the hands of the Cincinnati Reds, Albert Pujols just keeps making history. The 42-year-old Pujols collected his 1,375th career extra-base hit with a fifth-inning RBI double and he now needs just two extra-base hits to tie Stan Musial (sitting at 1,377 extra-base hits) for the third-most in MLB history.

13. Boston Red Sox (last week: 13)

14. Philadelphia Phillies (last week: 15)

15. Cleveland Guardians (last week: 17)

16. Chicago White Sox (last week: 14)

17. Miami Marlins (last week: 20)

18. Los Angeles Angels (last week: 16)

19. Texas Rangers (last week: 18)

20. Seattle Mariners (last week: 21)

21. Arizona Diamondbacks (last week: 19)

22. Baltimore Orioles (last week: 22)

The Orioles are one of two MLB teams to still not have a win this season when trailing after the first inning. So far, Baltimore is 0-19 when trailing after the first, while the Chicago Cubs are 0-11 after falling behind early.

23. Colorado Rockies (last week: 25)

24. Pittsburgh Pirates (last week: 23)

25. Chicago Cubs (last week: 24)

26. Detroit Tigers (last week: 26)

27. Washington Nationals (last week: 27)

28. Cincinnati Reds (last week: 29)

29. Oakland A’s (last week: 28)

30. Kansas City Royals (last week: 30)
