The Atlanta Braves are hosting their Alumni Weekend next weekend when the club faces the Arizona Diamondbacks. Here’s what you need to know about the weekend that thousands of fans in Braves country are looking forward to. The weekend will culminate with Joe Adcock, Leo Mazzone, and Joe Torre being inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame.

What former Braves will be there?
As of this publication, more than 60 former Braves players, coaches, and executives will be at Truist Park in Atlanta to reminisce about their time with the Braves. Here is the full list of the Braves that will be there during the weekend.
Braves Alumni Weekend events: Friday, July 29
On Friday, July 29, at 6:15 p.m., fans are invited to line up along Battery Avenue from Silverspot Cinema to Truist Park’s third base gate to see the Braves legends. Game tickets are NOT required, but space is limited and no autographs will be allowed.
For those with tickets, inside of the stadium, alumni will be introduced on-field before the game. A special tribute will recognize the 40th anniversary of the 1982 team, that won the Braves’ first National League West division title since 1969.
Braves Alumni Weekend events: Saturday, July 30
On Saturday, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Braves alumni will be available for autographs throughout Truist Park prior to the game on Saturday.
The locations and roster will be released at 3:30 p.m. on the MLB Ballpark app. The app will also update live when lines reach capacity or if rosters are updated.
All items for autographs will be supplied by the Braves (no personal items). One autographed item, per person, per alumnus. Unfortunately, no photos will be allowed.
At 5:45, the alumni will participate in a softball game. The two teams will be captained by Braves TV analysts Brian Jordan and Jeff Francoeur.
Pregame, the three inductees (Adcock posthumously) will be inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame.
Braves Alumni Weekend event: Sunday, July 31
The largest events will be on Friday and Saturday as for Braves Alumni Weekend, the only event taking place on Sunday is a special recording of the “Behind the Braves” podcast.
The podcast will be recorded at 11:30 a.m. with guests and host and former Braves reliever Greg McMichael. It will be recorded live on stage at The Georgia Power Pavilion in The Battery Atlanta.
