As Aaron Judge goes, so do the New York Yankees. And, as the home run numbers for Judge keep rising, so do the Yankees in our most recent MLB power rankings.
In our latest MLB power rankings, all eyes are on New York as the Mets get healthier and the Yankees keep powering toward the postseason
With the top five spots staying the same in our power rankings this week, the New York Yankees are the first team to show movement, jumping into the sixth spot as the Seattle Mariners slide backward. For the Yankees, it’s no longer a question of if they can maintain the American League East title and earn the bye in the postseason, but rather just how much damage they can do in October and beyond.
In another borough, the New York Mets are locked in a fight with the Atlanta Braves for supremacy in the National League East. However, the Mets are getting some key pitching pieces back from injury, including Max Scherzer while the Braves have once again lost second baseman Ozzie Albies to injury, with his return up in the air for the postseason.
Below you can find the latest installment of our MLB power rankings. Once again this week, we searched for three tweets to further highlight some of the recent happenings with three teams in the rankings, including one in each third.
