The odds-on favorites to win their respective leagues, the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers are also the only MLB teams to win 100 games so far in the regular season. Are the two franchises, sitting at the top of this week’s MLB power rankings, on a collision course for another World Series matchup?
According to our friends at WynnBet, the Dodgers are +300 to win the World Series while the Astros come in at +375. The New York Mets and Yankees are next, each at +500.
In our latest MLB power rankings, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros are in the top two spots after a week of changes.
This week, the Houston Astros rise to the second spot in our MLB power rankings, up one spot from last week. That knocks the Mets back to third, just ahead of the Atlanta Braves ahead of their huge matchup this weekend at Truist Park. Will the NL East title be decided this weekend in Atlanta?
Speaking of New York, the Yankees rise one spot to fifth after winning seven straight games, including a rain-shortened victory over the Boston Red Sox as Aaron Judge still chases Roger Maris and the American League home run record.
