Although Mancini did not hit much, and ended up appearing in just eight games during the Astros postseason run, he came away with the biggest prize of all. Mancini earned a World Series ring for his efforts, something made even more impressive considering this was his first ever time in the playoffs.

Enter Mancini. He may have struggled over those final few months in Houston, but he was an above average bat with solid pop. Mancini is also known as a professional hitter, having solid plate appearances and typically making strong contact.
He also knows what it takes to win. Mancini was right there as the Houston Astros won the title this past season and can take those lessons with him to Miami. As the Marlins are looking to contend once more, adding players with postseason experience, even if it is just the one season, can make a difference.
