MLB Power Rankings: Braves, Orioles and Dodgers continue to set pace
The 2023 MLB season is down to the final week, and so are our MLB power rankings.
Three teams, the Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves, and Los Angeles Dodgers have wrapped up their division titles. There are still three division races up for grabs, the American League East, the American League West, and the National League Central, where the Milwaukee Brewers’ magic number is one.
Not only are those divisions up for grabs but so are both the AL Wild Card spots and the NL Wild Card spots. With six days remaining, there is still plenty of play for in both leagues and the postseason Wild Card matchups are far from determined. That does not change the fact that the Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Dodgers, and Tampa Bay Rays continue to set the pace in this week’s MLB Power Rankings.
The San Diego Padres put together a late-season eight-game winning streak but, as has been the case all season with them, it was a case of too little, too late. Their front office hopes finishing the season strong will only lead to a better 2024.
The bottom third of this week’s rankings are filled with teams playing out the string and looking at changes and roster overhauls heading into the offseason. With that said, here are the latest MLB Power Rankings as the regular season comes down to the final six days and two series for each team.
