Michael fell in love with baseball from an early age. This led him to pursue a degree in Sport Management at Brock University, where he is an active student. His first love was the statistical side of the game, but quickly grew to include a passion for scouting. Presently he attends various scouting events in the area such as showcases, tournaments, and free agent camps. To further his understanding of scouting he began to work as a coach for the Field House Pirates, a top amateur baseball organization located in Southern Ontario. Michael enjoys player development and continues to learn from former and current scouts.
