It may not quite be the Ellen Oscar selfie, but as selfies go, this one is pretty historic.

David Ortiz. Barack Obama. At the White House.

That puts the capper on a pretty amazing run for Papi and the Red Sox.

World Series. New contract for Papi. Selfie with the president.

Now what? Oh, back to the grind of baseball.

It seems unlikely that Boston will be able to repeat the magic of 2013, but you never know. Papi and the gang could be right back there at the White House again next year.
