Hunter’s attorney believes that the case should be resolved shortly and has maintained that Darius’s innocence from the onset of charges.
Hunter’s son was arrested Monday and charged with sexual assault of a child. Darius has since been released on bond and Hunter’s attorney is hopeful that the 17-year-old’s case will be resolved in the near future.
Darius and four others were arrested on charges related to an alleged sexual assault. Darius and three others were charged with the sexual assault of a child while the other involved was charged with unlawful restraint.
Hunter’s attorney has said that the girl that alleged Darius and others assaulted her recanted her accusation during a phone call. Unbeknownst to the girl, this phone call was recorded by a family friend of Hunter, something that is legal in the state of Texas.
