  1. Yoenis Cespedes – Oakland Athletics (5, 15) If anything, Cespedes regressed in 2013 following his fantastic rookie year, but it was still a solid effort.  The 28-year old recorded 26 homers and 80 RBI for the division champs and thankfully for Cespedes, the A’s proved that he doesn’t need to do it by himself.  Brandon Moss and Josh Donaldson put up big numbers as well.  There might be better hitters in the league, but he sure is intimidating at the plate.
  2. Shin-Soo Choo – Texas Rangers (4, 17)
  3. Josh Hamilton – Los Angeles Angels (1, 29)
  4. Logan Morrison – Seattle Mariners (0, 41)
  5. Robbie Grossman – Houston Astros (0, 48)

Center Field

  1. Mike Trout – Los Angeles Angels (10, 10) If you want to call Trout the best player in baseball, you probably won’t get much argument from experts and fans alike.  The kid is the epitome of a five-tool player and will continue to get better and better. Scary isn’t it?
  2. Coco Crisp – Oakland Athletics (0, 24)
  3. Dexter Fowler – Houston Astros (0, 32)
  4. Leonys Martin – Texas Rangers (0, 38)
  5. Dustin Ackley – Seattle Mariners (0, 43)

Right Field

  1. Josh Reddick – Oakland Athletics (7, 14) Another cog on the wheel of the Oakland offense, Reddick might not be a household name, but if injuries had not been a factor its likely be would’ve repeated his 30+ homer season from 2012.  The batting average isn’t great and the strikeout numbers aren’t good, but they are par for the course in today’s MLB.
  2. Alex Rios – Texas Rangers (2, 20)
  3. Michael Saunders – Seattle Mariners (0, 31)
  4. Kole Calhoun – Los Angeles Angels (1, 34)
  5. L.J. Hoes – Houston Astros (0, 48)

Designated Hitter

  1. Corey Hart – Seattle Mariners (5, 20) With Cano and Hart the Mariners will look to drastically increase their run total from a year ago.  Hart comes to Seattle from Milwaukee where hit 154 homers in 9 seasons for the Brewers.  The Mariners only signed him to a 1-year deal so they won’t be strapped if he can’t stay healthy.  However, when healthy Hart is a legitimate power threat and as everyone knows, power is at a premium in today’s game.
  2. Raul Ibanez – Los Angeles Angels (4, 25)
  3. Mitch Moreland – Texas Rangers (1, 25)
  4. John Jaso – Oakland Athletics (0, 31)
  5. Marc Krauss – Houston Astros (0, 49)
