Let’s take a look at what Cuban players are in each 60-man pool for the 2020 MLB season.

With the 2020 MLB season right around the corner, most teams have released their pools of 60 players for their training camps that will commence July 1st.

In a shortened season that will include the designated hitter in both leagues, it looks to be an interesting campaign. Look for Yoenis Céspedes in New York and Rangel Ravelo of the Cardinals to thrive in those roles.

The season is set to end September 27 and the playoffs are scheduled to start on September 29, while the World Series is supposed to start on October 20 barring any setbacks.

Milwaukee, San Francisco, and Arizona have yet to reveal their pools.

The Houston Astros are the team with the most Cubans and/or Cuban Americans with seven. A few prospects have been surprisingly left off rosters, such as Padres power-hitting outfielder Jorge Oña.

The Whitesox are second with six Cubans on their roster including the ultra-talented rookie Luis Robert Moirán.

On the other hand, the 28 teams rosters give some players like Miguel Romero and Yadiel Hernández a great chance to make their Major League debuts if not straight out of camp sometime this season.

This could the season where we break the record of 30 Cuban players playing in the big leagues in one season. Something that has been seen only three times (1967,2016,2019).
