Houston Astros

Unlike the Boston Red Sox, the Houston Astros do not have many options available in their outfield.

As the Astros roster is currently constituted, there are four outfielders on the depth chart. Yordan Alvarez could technically play in the outfield, but he is better suited to the designated hitter role. Myles Straw is listed as the starting center fielder, but he is best suited to a utility role. There are major holes on the Astros roster with spring training approaching.

Jackie Bradley Jr. could be a part of the solution. While he will not make anyone forget about Geroge Springer, Bradley is an excellent defensive outfielder who provides decent pop and speed in the lineup. He has hit double digit homers five times in his career, eclipsing the 20 homer plateau twice.

But that is not what the Astros would necessarily be looking for. Bradley would be the perfect center fielder for the lineup, adding a level of defense that they need. He is not going to replace Springer, but he would be a solid pickup nonetheless.
