San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants have been linked to the former Boston Red Sox outfielder, but one has to wonder if Jackie Bradley Jr. is worth the cost for them at this point.

This does not mean that the Giants do not have a hole in center. Mauricio Dubon is atop their depth chart there, but is another player best used as a utility option. While Mike Yastrzemski can play in center field as well, San Francisco does need another option.

Bradley would be a great fit in their lineup. He would add another solid bat with decent pop and speed to a remade batting order. Additionally, he would give the Giants a Gold Glove caliber outfielder who can make a tremendous difference defensively.

The problem is the division that the Giants find themselves in. The Padres and Dodgers have continued to attempt to one up each other, with both teams amongst the favorites to reach the World Series. Bradley would improve the Giants roster, but they are still likely playing for third in the division and a chance at the second Wild Card.

Jackie Bradley Jr. could be a fit for several teams. It is a matter of which team will meet the Boston Red Sox’ outfielder’s asking price.
