Continuing his Hall of Fame profile series, Lew told us all why Charlie Finley is a tough sell to HoF voters.

Saturday

Lew continued his Hall series explaining why Ron Santo’s time is now.

Sunday

The Hall of Fame was the talk of weekend at Call to the Pen as Justin H. presented Jimmy RollinsHoF case and Lew told us why voting Minnie Minoso into the Hall should be a no-brainer.

Monday

Joe presented our readers with a breakdown of the trade that sent John Jaso to the Mariners for reliever Josh Lueke.

With the Hot Stove heating up, Lew gave us his take on free agency in general.

Tuesday

Justin H. explained why free agency is truly all about timing.

Lew revealed FanSided MLB’s Golden Era Hall of Fame voting.

Tim got our day started with a double shot of baseball history, taking a look at the history of baseball’s postseason shares and the rookie season of Joe DiMaggio.

Lew told us why he thinks Bobby Valentine could prove to be the Red Sox savior.

Joe praised the Cubs signing of David DeJesus.

Thursday

Justin H. disagreed with Lew and told us why, saying Bobby V is in fact wrong for the Sox.  Justin also gave a shout out to Jimmy V Week and the V Foundation.

Joe got crazy, breaking down not one, not two, not three, but four of the latest transactions including; the Taylor Teagarden trade, the Adam Kennedy signing, the Chris Iannetta/Tyler Chatwood swap and the resulting Ramon Hernandez signing.

Chris made his Call to the Pen debut and took the first pitch he saw deep.  CttP’s newest addition gave his take on the David DeJesus signing.
