Good Job Chris Davis! Davis got his first shot at redemption Monday when he helped save people trapped in a truck after a car accident.
Baltimore Orioles’ first baseman Chris Davis was suspended Friday for the use of amphetamines. He is suspended for 25 games which means the rest of the regular season is shot for him as well as part of the postseason.

He may be able to return before next season, depending on how far the Orioles go in October.
Davis, however, isn’t slacking on his time off. In fact he was hero on Monday at the scene of a horrific car crash.
According to MASN’s Roch Kubatko’s report on Twitter, Davis was on his way to pick up friends at the airport when he witnessed the accident and was one of the first people on the scene to try and help.
Terrible accident on 295 today. Truck flipped. Southbound lanes closed. Multiple people injured. 1 of 1st people to help out - Chris Davis

Davis had some help but he was instrumental in rescuing a group of people who were stuck in an overturned truck, waving over others to help him free the frightened passengers.
Davis was heading to airport to pick up friends. Got out of car, waved people over to help, and they flipped the truck back on its wheels

Kubatko described Davis’ good samaritan actions with the perfect baseball analogy. Really I don’t think it gets better than this,
1st career save for Davis.
