Jared is a Junior at a small Liberal Arts College of Wabash College studying history and economics. At Wabash he is a member of the baseball team earning two varsity letters and being named All-NCAC his Freshman year. He is a career .328 hitter with a .869 OPS, while playing the outfield. He works as an assistant in the Sports Information department at Wabash College as well. That job consists of doing analytical research, broadcasting basketball games, and being defensive statistician for the highly ranked Wabash College football program. In his off time, Jared loves to create new baseball statistical models he hopes one day to be able to use for a Major League Organization or a sports analytics company. Lastly, his love for writing brings him to this job as a contributor to Call to the Pen!
